No, of course not. Go with Epson, HP, even Smart Tanks use thermal inkjet printheads, they heat up ink. HP rep gives a non-answer. He's promoting their special paper, that's not what Sublimation commonly means at this point.

Try again, HP; this is the wrong information. I don't think HP, even Smart Tanks, could be used for sublimation since they're heating ink, and it will solidify.

If you are wanting to use heat transfer paper for t-shirts, then yes this Smart Tank 6001 printer will handle heat transfer paper made for inkjet printers.
