I just bought the HP6001 printer and it does the same thing. So I bought a second one with intentions of returning the first, but they both make that constant high pitched buzzing sound. Some people can't hear it, but for those of us who can it's awful.

Before returning the printer, try moving it a little bit away from the monitor and see if the buzzing noise changes. It could be that the monitor and printer are somehow interacting, and you're getting that buzzing noise. If it doesn't change, after you've moved the printer. then it's definitely time to take the printer back.
