“cannot scan pdf files on hp7602. do not give me option to do so. how do i get the option”

• The scan function on the printer menu can scan something and output it as a pdf file on a USB drive, or a network location, or send as an email. To do emails or network locations requires some additional setup, but nothing extra is needed to put the pdf file on a USB drive you have plugged into it.

• The HP Smart app gives you the option to save scans as PDF files. First you go into "Scan," then go through the settings under file format, finally check PDF.
