Can we extend storage up to 1tb or more maybe? null

It is recommended that should you decide to upgrade this unit that you have a certified technician do the upgrades. If Geek Squad were to upgrade the unit for you, it would not void the HP warranty, but HP will not cover the new parts.

I bought for external storage and safety of my info an SSD 1TB small unit for $99 at Best Buy, plugs in to an USB port. I was hacked and advised to store to this small unit instead of on to my laptop for security. Plus is easy to take with me when I travel and us someone else's computer to get files I want.
