Great computer so far except the internal microphone stopped working. Now HP wants me to ship it to them to fix it. That means, I will be without a computer for over a week. Like you, I use it for work. I bought it at the end of February and have not experienced any other issues. Now with everything being online, I really need the microphone. I can use my cell phone for calls, but would prefer not to. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, it is not sufficient. I use it mostly for browsing and emailing. Chrome is not capable of performing well with multiple tabs open. Yes, it is memory monster. But unfortunately 8GB is not good enough with those kind of modern browsers. I would keep it minimum 16GB

However, because the computer is so thin, the memory had to be "surface mounted" (meaning, soldered directly to the motherboard). Because of that, the memory is not upgradeable. However, 8 gigabytes of RAM should be plenty for how you're going to use it.
