“Does the fan supposed to work just on the right hand side portion or throughout the the whole length of top? The reason i ask is because when i get my face close to the fan, i can feel the air blowing only from the right hand side of the top of the tablet”

I've noticed this as well. I would assume that the left side of the top is the air intake (since there are no other vents on the computer) and the right side is where the hot air comes out.
