“Unlike many other 2-in-1 models, the HP specs don't list an estimated battery life. I have had problems in the past with very limited battery life for HP laptops. Can anyone put a time on how long the battery lasts in real world use.?”

Real world mixed usage 5 - 6 hours. Don't listen to HP support that post here, because they'll tell you 4-6 is normal when you contact support about poor battery life.
