Good question. The exact reason why any product is refurbished is not known. Usually, refurbished products are items that have been returned for a number of reasons. It could be as simple as the customer not liking the color of the product, they bought the wrong model number, they thought the computer was too slow, etc. Refurbished products have been reset to factory settings and made sure that they are still working.
