"I own the computer, as well as the active stylus, and it doesn't work." Which exact model pen are you trying to use?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ok, here is the deal with the stylus: everyone is correct that it does not work "out of the box". The driver to support the stylus is not installed from the factory (for some unknown reason). You can however go to HP's website and download, then install the active stylus drivers and software. The hardware supports the stylus fully and it works very well. You just have to get the correct software for it. It is very annoying and a bit weird, but it does work and you can find detailed tutorials online about exactly how to do it. I bought a stylus, installed the software on the Kaby lake x360 and it works very very well. good luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. While the previous generation x360 worked with a Synaptics active stylus, the newest generation with the Kaby Lake processors does not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the current generation (Kaby Lake) does not have a digitizer with active stylus support. The previous (Sky Lake) version does. The Kaby Lake is a complete redesign with a smaller chassis, lighter weight, and removal of USB ports/HDMi/SD Card reader in favor of USB-C thunderbolt ports.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it does not support a stylus. The older model supposedly does though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Like others, I have it. It does not support an active stylus.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the computer and the stylus (online). Does not work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not true according to HP support. They're saying they do in fact support the same Active Styli as before.
