While the previous generation x360 worked with a Synaptics active stylus, the newest generation with the Kaby Lake processors does not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the deal with this model is that for some reason HP decided not to install the drivers to support the active stylus. the hardware does support it, however. so, if you download and install the software yourself from HP's website, then the active stylus DOES work. It will not work out the box, and HP's website did state previously that it does not support the active stylus. They have since changed the information, but the computer is still shipping without the driver installed. The computer is great, and does work well with the active stylus once you get things installed and setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Having just made the decision, the 4k and pen were not worth the extra $400, as mine was clearanced for $1,099. The 4k is a battery suck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Where in the specs did you see it supports an active stylus? It doesn't, period.
