YES ... The USB-C Thunderbolt port transfers both data and power (i.e. charges the laptop). Side Note: This is a nice feature for compatible port replicators to provide desktop connectivity (external monitors, keyboard, etc) with a single cable that also charges! If you are interested, I was able to find a port replicator that uses the USB-C Thunderbolt technology, allowing a single cable to provide BOTH data transmission AND power (charging the laptop) ... very nice! - Kensington SD4600P USB-C Universal Dock with Power Others that may work, but I have NOT tested are: - Plugable USB-C Triple Display Dock - HP Elite Thunderbolt 3 Dock
