To be honest my first one (5th gen core i5, 8gb ram, 256 ssd) went haywire too all within 2days of receiving it in the mail. Maybe that's why it got messed up? Who knows. I returned it and got another one (6th gen core i7, 8gb ram, 256 ssd) and am LOVING IT! I wasn't too pleased I had to pony up an extra $60 for the next better version but I can say I am now happy with my purchase. I'm sure if you go to Best buy they'll exchange it for you. Best of luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also had a problem with my first Spectre 360 when it also went bad. I had even downloaded additional software. I was sick for spending almost $1200. Luckily I went back to Best Buy during the Holiday and not only did they give me a new one right away, no problems, no questions but this one works great and they gave me the $200 dis count at the time. I am very particular with what I put on it and use a back up hard drive. I use it everyday and the boot up time is 8 seconds from power on. It does sometimes run a little hot and I'm not sure how to fix it. I hope it helps to just exchange it. Good luck.
