No, only works with wireless or I suppose you can buy a USB dongle with RJ45 plug in capability. If you are worried about security what I did for traveling a couple of years back was to purchase a Pepware portable external router. It requires external power, but can be plugged into an Ethernet cable or will interface with Wi-Fi and then you have to link to the router with a WEP code. You have in effect established a secure connection through the router. It probably isn't as secure as a direct Ethernet link, but in a hotel I can route my cell phones, tablet, my wife's IPAD and our computers through the router.
