QuestionDoes this have a PCIE M.2 SSD or a SATA M.2? Or is it an MSATA drive. Also, can the SSD be upgraded without voiding the warranty?

- Answer It only has a one year warranty. Buy the 125gb get the clone set up and a 1gb SSD then change it out. I wish I had done that instead of paying for 512gb. Could have saved a bit and had 2x storage.

- Answer This model uses U6000 type Intel SkyLake processor. Latest on the market. Previous one was Broadwell U5000 ish processor. Broadwell on Spectre got pretty good reviews. I am expecting the new one (SkyLake) will also be good down the line (once more reviews are in by customers like you and me)... SkyLake is supposed to give about 10-15% more better battery usage.

- Answer No, only works with wireless or I suppose you can buy a USB dongle with RJ45 plug in capability. If you are worried about security what I did for traveling a couple of years back was to purchase a Pepware portable external router. It requires external power, but can be plugged into an Ethernet cable or will interface with Wi-Fi and then you have to link to the router with a WEP code. You have in effect established a secure connection through the router. It probably isn't as secure as a direct Ethernet link, but in a hotel I can route my cell phones, tablet, my wife's IPAD and our computers through the router.

- Answer No, the monitor is not detachable. It does flip completely around to sit perfectly flat on the keyboard base. Key are exposed on the bottom, but deactivated to prevent accidental pressing.

QuestionCan anybody definitively tell me what stylus/pen will work on an HP Spectre x360 laptop of the following specs: Intel Core i7-8GB memory-512 GB solid state drive- Windows 10. I would definitely buy this laptop if I could find a stylus I knew would work.

Questionhow warm does the bottom of the keyboard housing become when operating

- Answer It got pretty hot when I was downloading VisualStudio. I can't explain in degrees, but I kept my palm under the left side since it was COLD in NY in my bedroom. It helped me to warm up my hands..haha. Since Its aluminium/metal case, it cools down pretty fast. On normal browsing, 3 IE windows, 4-5 Chrome windows, Had visual studio open and coding. It was very slightly warm. I guess it only heats up to that degree when you are downloading, installing, and doing photoshop/video edits. Average, normal usage, it should be very light warm. Also it could have been that I had it charging while downloading VisualStudio. Overall you shouldnt experience that unless doing heavy duty lifting.
