You will want to contact either HP Support or Geek Squad right away. They can get it looked at and repaired or replaced depending on the needs. The faster you do it, the more likely they can figure out the cause and help reduce future risks. If it was from a drop, you might want to look into some possible solutions at Best Buy for protection for your laptop.
