• Yes, mine has 3 different USB ports one of which is the one you mentioned. See the Setup Instructions that came with the Lap Top if you can't find it it's on line at HP. All 3 are on the right side of the key board To access the user guide, select the START icon on the Lap Top, select HP and then HP Documents
