No, it's not an outdated model-in fact, it was released in September 2021. Stock is very thin on this and many other models from different manufacturers because of worldwide shipping issues, but I know that HP is trying to get Best Buy stocked with models as quickly as possible. However, when they're stuck in ships that can't get into port, there's only so much that can be done. We don't have any information on new models that will be coming out for the holidays.
