The black object at the top above the monitor is the HP Illuminator Powered by an HP DLP projector, a high-resolution camera with up to 14.6MP resolution and an Intel® RealSense 3D camera to let you capture 2D and 3D objects. Also serves as an LED desk lamp. The bottom item is a 20 point touch mat.

Also I think there are videos on YouTube about the HP Sprout. If I remember correctly, I think the touch-mat on the bottom works as a keyboard and maybe also as a second display. Again, check the HP website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It actually comes, with a keyboard and mouse. The pad is touch sensitive, a second screen ,and the bed for the scanner. The device above is the scanner/projector. Use it to capture objects, or project onto the mat to use as a second desktop.
