“Does 2GB max RAM feel like a handicap? Looking for a possible HP Chromebook replacement. I can appreciate the Stream's flash memory based HD speeding up the entire OS experience, but given the choice I would have still liked to install a few GB more RAM after purchase. Does the 2GB RAM feel sufficient for this system compared to similar ultraportables with 4GB (which usually accompany a 500GB SATA, or 32GB eMMc)? I would rather spend $50 more to get a substantially better system, but wouldn't bother with for just a nominally better one. Thanks!”

If you are using it for its pure purpose of work mainly microsoft office, chat, facebook, etc and not attempting to use this for gaming or alot of multitasking then you shouldnt feel too much of a restraint due to ram. However if you plan to do multi tasking or anything outside this laptops intended purpose design then it will surely hold you back.
