“My HP Stream Laptop gets very hot and I see there is no fan, should this be a concern The bottom of the computer gets very hot and when it does everything runs slower and sometimes freezes up. I also don't see a fan. I have only had the computer for 1 week. Is this normal or should I take the computer back.”

• Your unit may be defective. Slowing down and heating up is a sign of a defect. Utilize your warranty to repair the unit.

• Mine does not get hot. A cooling pad would allow circulation.
