Basic games as in what kind of games if it's too high of a quality it'll crash also if you're trying to download the game to play it you will not have enough storage or it won't have great graphics you may lag so on and so forth but for like going in and playing like a online lobby for like cribbage or chest or something like that yes you can use it for that

If you need to use another browser or download from another origin, you'll need to convert the laptop out of S Mode (free, simple, not reversible).
