I haven't used PowerPoint on here yet, so I can't speak to that, but I would say that it is good for schoolwork and homework. I'm not a student, but I am a writer, so I do a lot of research, downloading, and writing on this computer.

Yes I think it is good for all that. I run all the office programs fast and smooth and save my files to Onedrive.

Yes but I would save my work to a memory card/stick as the memory space is limited. I bought this laptop specifically for blogging and that has been my solution for the memory issue.

Yes, my daughter is using it for her college courses and she has been very happy with it.
