“If I were to switch out of the Windows 10 S mode on this computer will it still run ok? Hoping to use this for online classes, email, office 365, chrome and to work on my blog. Until I get into grad school (2 years).”

If you need to switch out of S Mode for programs that you need to use, expect slower but still useable performance. The Stream will perform best over the time you are needing to use it if it is left in S Mode.
