A:Answer Not sure how long battery lasts, because I just use the charger when the battery is about 1/2 full, until it is fully charged. Then I unplug the charger, so it doesn't heat up too much. I liked the prior original HP charger that came with my HP laptop a whole lot better.
In my humble opinion, the new charger's square shape is somewhat awkward, & if the cord were longer, it would be a whole lot easier to use!
