This laptop likely lacks a Thunderbolt port. Perhaps you bought a similar model with an Intel CPU? Most laptops with Ryzen CPUs would have a USB-C 4 port instead, which has similar capabilities. As far as I know, no USB-C 4 port here. (But Best Buy often errs on specs, so anyone who owns one might contradict me.)
