• Ddr4 3200hz ram is optimal choice. Either get it directly from HP or from another company. This laptop is officially caped at 32 G, but some people claim to have gotten it up to 64 G.

• If you wanted to upgrade to 16 gigabytes, you can get a 16 gigabytes DDR4-3200 SODIMM RAM module that would plug in to one of the ram slots. If you wanted to go to 32 gigabytes, you could get two of them.
