Davey, thank you for your question! I am also sorry that this happened. There has been malware going around that enables BitLocker without the user's knowledge or consent. This is not connected to any manufacturer or retailer. You can take your units into any Best Buy Geek Squad precinct for work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If a computer suddenly becomes unusable like that, you should be able to reset it without any additional cost. It is a simple procedure. Unfortunately, it usually means losing any data on your machine.
