I'd not hesitate. IDK what you're doing as far as use case but I'm running games, browsing, multiple art programs open at once and that's while running two extra screens as well. That said I don't think I've ever saturated the 16 I have, I don't do video editing on it though either? If it's a good deal though 32 gb, while maybe overkill for games right now, is always gonna be a "nice to have" as future proof and you ain't gonna go wrong buying from Crucial.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you look at the other questions about RAM and upgradeability, you will see that the answers are inconsistent. Some say 16GB is the maximum, others 32, some 64. Go to Crucial (or whatever your preferred RAM supply site is) and search "RAM for HP Victus xxxxxxxxxxxx" (xxxxxx will be the model number). That will answer your question in a definite manner.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The HP Victus gaming line supports up to 16GB of memory in a 2x8GB configuration, which means you will not be able to upgrade to 32GB. However, the HP Omen gaming series can handle 32GB of RAM.
