Hello, Tachyon! Thanks for the question on this HP Victus 16.1 Gaming Laptop. This model's RAM is not soldered and can be accessed by the consumer for modification. It can be upgraded up to 32GB (16 x 2) of RAM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HP has answered this question with different amounts, which is why it is important that people check for themselves, and use the "Search" function in Questions to avoid asking the same question repeatedly. I looked at several websites for the answer. Two said 32GB was the maximum, while two others said 64GB!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this laptop. You can get 64 GB ram for this computer. I know because I bought Crucial 64GB DDR5 RAM 5600MHz (2 x 32GB). Just make sure if installing yourself you have a GOOD screwdriver. (Almost stripped one screw because of the soft metal on my screwdriver.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The actual max ram support is 96GB (2x 48GB sodimms).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually you can upgrade it to a maximum of 96GB (2x48GB sodimms). I have done this myself.
