Yes there is an on/off button on the upper right part of the keybaord (Logitech - K270 Wireless Keyboard). I've been using the Keyboard for well over a month, and no battery issues yet, and I've frequently forgotten to turn it off at the end of the day. NO issues with battery life so far...
