Be extremely cautious with any devices you wish to use that are not specifically sold by Sprint pre-paid or its pre-paid entities. This phone definitely works with sprint post paid. However the specific sim card -numberGLW446C- (if I remember correctly) must be used to get your phone line active with the 6p. A BestBuy mobile employee can activate the 6p through a hardware swap as long as they remember that specific simcard#. Sprint has a ridiculously confusing mobile network riddled with multiple random simcards (more like dozens) for different devices on different plans. Sprint is the parent company of Virgin Mobile. The CDMA/GSM factory unlocked Nexus 6P sold at best buy would not activate on Virgin Mobile's network. Virgin Mobile however does sell the 6P on their website (at a highly inflated price). So if Sprint pre-paid "locks" your prepaid account to sprint branded specific prepaid devices, then it may not be compatible. The best idea would be to call Sprint Corporate, ask for a manager and inquire if their pre-paid network will work with the 446C postpaid simcard. If it does not work on prepaid ask if there is a pre-paid alternative solution to get your unlocked 6P activated. I wish I could be more help! If you do ultimately get an answer please post back on its compatibility..
