- Answer I'm not an expert, but from professional reviews that I've read any USB-C cable will charge this phone. The reason it's recommended you use the included cable is because it will enable fast charging. Hauwei claims 47% battery with only a 30 minute charge. A lot of the reviewers have said too that other cables will fast charge the Honor 8, but that it is finicky so finding one may prove difficult. Hope this helps!

- Answer I don't work for Huawei but my guess is to keep cost down. The phone presents great value at the price so why include mediocre or bad headphones when most customers have pairs they like already.

QuestionI see there are two LTE bands - LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800) and LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 12(700), 17(700) - AL00 (USA). Are you able to explain if I were to purchase one for Melbourne Australia, if it includes both?

- Answer Yes, the phone has the LTE bands you mentioned. Since you have all the specs for the phone, you should ask your carrier in Australia if it will work on their network. The voice/text function will be fine as it's the GSM global standard. The cellular data, specifically LTE bands, is where there's variance between networks. It is a well-constructed, reliable phone.

QuestionHonor 8 is a great smartphone!!! I am using HiSuite to connect my 8 to PC. Here, my question is why there is no music folder on the window of HiSuite. Other folders are there. Could you tell us why Huawei does not want to add this folder?

- Answer Hello qjzhang, you are correct in that Hi-suite does not currently have a music folder built into the app. At this time audio files are considered to be a part of general data, and because of that they do not have a dedicated folder. Please note however that you you do backup your phone using hi-suite your music files are saved within that data. - Answer We are pleased to hear that you think the Honor 8 is great--we agree! In regards to the battery, the current specifications are approximately 360 hours of standby time. Keep in mind that this does depend on user operation and network condition. Keep following Huawei devices for any future updates/upgrades! (RL)
