Hi, happy to hear you just picked up the Honor 8, but sad to hear that your having that problem. The Honor 8 was designed to work with T-Mobile and should work practically out of the box. Because it is such a new phone, perhaps the person you spoke to was unfamiliar with it. If you have the ability I would recommend going to a T-Mobile store and they should be able to get you up and running in no time. (DM)
