I just use the messenger app that's already built in ... I assume it's the Google messenger app

Please try again later.In order to enable text messages on your watch, you will want to make sure you have the latest Android Wear app. To enable text messaging permissions, go to Settings > Permission manager > Applications > Android Wear, and then enable Trust this application. This will give the Android Wear app full permissions. It is recommended that you use these settings to enjoy full watch functionality. (DM)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don't need any application. When you get the watch, you will have to install Android Wear. Once you do that, all your notifications on your phone will show on the watch. You will see the text notification on the watch and from there you will be able to view the text and do a quick reply via voice or choose from a few quick response options.
