The "extra" links are on the band already which is quite large in the first place, you have to remove some to make it smaller. I believe the Moto 360 uses a 22mm band and this watch uses a 22mm band as well BUT the connector is 18mm. So it will not work unless it has removable links in which the inside is 18mm.
