“The VIPER gets really hot when plugged in and the flash drives I've connected to it all get REALLY hot. I worry that somehow it'll melt the flash drives or damage the entry ports. Is this normal? Or is the device I just paid full retail for faulty?”

I have had my flash drive plugged in it for over 2 years and it has never melted anything. Just gets hot, because it's doing a lot! haha.
