Q: QuestionI noticed that the device as a 120w circular power input. Is this for use with standard Dell power supply connectors? If yes, would if be possible, if the need was to switch between Dell and Macbook Pro, to maintain the Dell power?

• A:Answer The GEN2 18-port uses a proprietary, optional, 180w DC power adapter. Unless a power user, most of our users are able to drive enough power to the GEN2 18-port via a USB-C power adapter of at least 65w.

• A:Answer This device will not come with an external power supply. We have created the product to allow the majority of users to operate their GEN2 18-port, and connected peripherals, with their laptop's USB-C charging cable. You would connect the USB-C charger into the USB-C power delivery port for up to 100 watts.
