• I am not sure of the specific monitor that you are referring to but I have connected it to maybe 5 different monitors using the HDMI and have not had a single problem. It will also provide the audio as well.

• Yes. If you are going to use 2 monitors, use the HDMI for the main(mirrored) screen. To utilize dual display/extended view you need to have the second display plugged in via USB C to VGA, HDMI, DVI.
