• It works best when standing up. I was laying down on a mattress with it and didn't feel the effects as much when I was standing up with it on over my shirt.

• The Venom 2 Back can be used while laying down if you would like! However, there are vibration pods on the back of this wrap, which could make it uncomfortable if laying on a hard surface.
