Hi, Mikey! You can customize the keyboard's lightning effects by downloading our HyperX NGENUITY software on Microsoft Store. You will need a Windows PC to use the application. Correct, the keyboard is compatible with the Xbox One. Thank you. Sidney | HyperX
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To change the colors, you'll have to download their software. Once downloaded, you can save up to three color profiles on the keyboard. Since there isn't a "FN" key on the keyboard, (which most keyboards have). It's not as easy to use. I tried so many times to save the colors in the software, but couldn't. I finally gave up and returned the keyboard. Maybe some had better luck with the software. Also... the red linear switches were way too clicky and, in my opinion was too noisy. The keyboard is nice and heavy and beautiful bright colors, (that is, if you can figure out the software),
