Surround is not a gimmic its much much better sound. Playing without surround is like playing on 1$ headphones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Press the Dobly button no more surround or plug in with 3.5mm jack it is... Truth is it's all stereo any 40mm to 50mm driver headset only has simulated surround

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You'll still have to set your device to output a surround sound signal for the Dolby to work then turn the Dolby on at the controller, and to switch back to stereo change the output signal on the device to stereo and turn off Dolby at the headset controller... but surround sound is bad. Just use the stereo. Stereo when used with headphones already produce a 3D soundscape. Using virtual surround will ALWAYS destroy the true sound and produce this overprocessed "tinny" sound that really does not make a better 3D soundscape than using just stereo. Also it automatically turns off the EQ settings on the controller! The bass boost this controller provides is the only bass boost I've ever heard that sounds good.... and the crappy Dolby automatically turns it off!!! Surround is for normal speakers. Virtual surround for headphones is a bad gimmick and you'll find yourself always turning it off, I guarantee!
