No you cannot. They are a very supple leather that had not shown any wear from my 4+ hour daily use (12+ on weekends) over the past 6 months. <<<That's a lot of use with no wear, trust me. Other sets with cloth ear pieces don't last like this.

Yes you can. They pop right out if you grab them from the inside of the cup.
