1) Yes.
2) The cord comes in two pieces and yes, one of the connectors is an audio jack. The headphones end in an audio jack that plugs into a control box where you can control the volume and surround sound, and the control box's cord then ends in a USB connection.

Yea, and yes. The cloud revolver has a standard 3.5 audio jack so you can plug it into anything from your pc to ps4 controlar to your Nintendo Switch to your phone. It has great audio, one of the best for a “gaming” headset, but this is true for all Hyperx headsets, but what stands out about this headset is the comfort, if you wear glasses like me, it’s a dream. The ear pads are luxuriously soft. Games, music, and movies sound great.

Kind of. With the crappy virtual surround sound off, it produces a good sound. However, they are the most uncomfortable headset I've ever had. They get uncomfortable after 20-30 minutes let alone a whole movie!

Yes, you can connect it to a phone or ipod; it has a 3.5 mm jack that goes into a controller/soundcard that isn't needed. You won't get the Dolby surround sound... but surround sound isn't good anyway.
