The only way to tell is to find the model of your Mac and look at the description of the cover to see if it says it will fit your model. You cannot always tell by just looking. Look on the back of your device for the model # or check on your desktop - “about” - and look for model # there. I have a cover and while it is not perfect, it does save scratches and offer some protection and I am happy it does that, but sadly it does not protect against falls, so being careful helps.
