“Does this cover provide MacBook protection of computer is dropped while in case?”

The plastic is pretty thin so I’m sure it’s better than having nothing covering your laptop but I doubt it’ll protect it from a serious or hard fall. The case is mostly to prevent scratches and small knicks like that.

Definitely Not. It’s more like protection against wayward scuffs and markings. Maybe an occasional nudge when the lid is closed. I do not recall what the product advertises, but go with Zero fall protection.

It doesn’t have any type of fall protection. It will only protect from surface scratches. It fits perfectly though. I love the case. It has a nice matte finish that keeps it from sliding off a smooth surface.

That I can’t say but I certainly wouldn’t want to drop it at the price it cost.

This case seems to be very protective. Have never dropped it but the case seems pretty durable.
