• I notice a slight lag in Wi-fi connection when I first turn on my computer even though it says connected. Sometimes it may even disconnect and reconnect for the first couple of minutes. Just my experience.

• It has wift but its not that good., I would recommend running with a Ethernet cable

• Personally, I don't use the wifi. If you have opened and modified the pc from its stock setting you could easily have damaged the built in wifi card. You can buy alternative wifi chips from places like best buy, but they aren't as fast. Direct connection to your modem is best, if possible.
