• Yes you can always upgrade the ram up to 16 gb in the future.Also you can upgrade a lot more just by taking the glass panel off

• Yes, this runs GTA V just fine on Medium-high settings. And I highly doubt you'll need to use any extra since 8 is a pretty respectable amount.
