• There are two hdmi jacks on the back. 1 for the motherboard and one for the graphics card. Try each one. Also try the Dvi connection. Did you try different cables?

• Let's eliminate the obvious but often-made-mistake 1st: Are you plugging the video cable into the video card or to one of the video ports on the case [up near the USB etc. ports]?

• Make sure the monitor is pluged into the graphics card panel, its the one at the bottom not top.
