Honestly I'm sure the 1060 has better performance than a 980ti. Just put a overclock on the 1060. I use EVGA Precision and ill put the fans at about 65%-70%, power limit at 105%, 250 on the Gpu clock and about 200 on the memory clock. Hope this works for you. Yes! It is very simple just unscrew the current GPU out of it and put the new one in and screw it back. Tons of YouTube videos too if you need more help.

It comes with an NVIDIA card already. If you want to upgrade, you just need to open the side panel and replace the card.

yes you can, but get a 1080 because it is newer, just remove the old one and put the new one in, just look up some videos
