I'm wondering exactly where I would update those drivers. I went to do just that and it said that my drivers were the most current available... still no 5.1...

I use a 7.1 surround sound headset on this computer and it works really well. I would be curious to know which speakers exactly you are trying to hook up and the different type of audio adaptations they have. I would look and see if you can match any of those ports with the ports on the back of the tower, if not look in store for an adapter of your needs!
